Demand for complementary medicines is growing but pharmacists and pharmacy assistants lack the knowledge and confidence in recommending them. Blackmores approached Guroo Learning to support the design of two microcredential programs for pharmacists and pharmacy assistants to close this knowledge and confidence gap.
The Opportunity
To create online microcredentialed certification programs to directly address knowledge and confidence gaps being experienced in the market.
The Solution
CMEd Certification is a CPD accredited, microcredentialed certification program for pharmacists in Malaysia, Thailand, Pakistan and Australia.
It builds the CM prescribing skills and knowledge of pharmacists through a blend of elearning modules and live virtual classrooms.
BeCertified was the first certified complementary medicines program for pharmacy assistants in Australia.
Online micro-courses build confidence and knowledge to answer customer questions and recommend suitable products.
The Results
CMEd Certification received an overall NPS of +63 for recommending training, while BeCertified received a +71 NPS
Microcredentials add credibility and value, but also help drive completion, and gives learners transferable certifications
Blackmores became the number one provider of training and education in pharmacy in a yearly survey conducted by the Advantage Group
