The Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) is the peak body representing all professionals working in the resources sector, providing leadership through professional development, recognition, certification, and upholding of professional standards. AusIMM wanted to develop an on-demand course for professionals transitioning into the resources industry to help contribute to a sustainable workforce pipeline.
The Opportunity
Develop an on-demand course for professionals transitioning into the resources industry to help contribute to a sustainable workforce pipeline
Create a professional development hub to bring members of association back for more of their professional learning and development activity

The Solution
A self-paced course delivered entirely online
6 modules which follow the life cycle of a mine from exploration, to mine design, to rehabilitation
Included video case studies of others who had transitioned into the industry and showcased a day-in-the-life of different roles involved in the mining life cycle
